TJB Plant Hire is a privately owned and run business.
TJB Plant Hire has moved on a lot since 1988, when Tim Burbidge ran the business from his friends farm in Chilton Polden, Somerset.
The business now is based out of our offices and workshops at the village of Aller in the heart of the Somerset Levels and has a hire fleet of over 70 excavators (1.5 Tonnes to 35 Tonnes), 250 + items of equipment (dumpers, rollers, tractors, trailers, trenchers, directional drilling rigs etc.) and a large range of attachments as well as a well equiped workshops and mobile fitters. This means that all our plant and equipment is meticulously maintained by TJB fitters. Even though our machines are well looked after, we still replace our plant and equipment regularly, so that you know you are hiring reliable and fully operational machines.
Our business is predominantly operated plant hire, but if you just want to hire our equipment on self drive, contact us and we can provide you with the most suitable equipment and transport solutions for you. All our machine operators are fully insured and are trained to CITB standards of either CPCS or NPOR training certificates.
